How Do Fully Reversible Windows Work?

The window sash pivots on a central horizontal axis. To clean the outer face, simply release the sash locks and rotate the sash 180 degrees — the outer glass face is now facing inward and can be cleaned easily from inside the room. When cleaning is complete, rotate back and re-lock. The mechanism is simple, robust and designed to last the lifetime of the window.
